English Diary - 15th August 2015 China town and George st

みなさんこんにちは。
シドニーも段々と、季節は春に向かって移行しているような気がする今日この頃です。

平日は仕事と学校が忙しく、あまり更新する時間がないのですが、割りと色んな場所を訪れているので、時間を見つけてブログ更新していけると良いなと思っています。

今日は、シドニーのシティ南側にあるチャイナシティのフードコートに行ってきたのと、Town Hall Station近くのヨーグルトのデザート屋さんに行ってきたので、日記がてら書いておきます。

Today I went to food court in china town with my girlfriend.
We chose Malaysian food.
I chose spicy noodle like tom yam cun and she chose fried rice.

The spicy noodle was delicious but actually I prefered to her ordered meal.

After the lunch, we hung around city, and went to sweets shop.
The shop sells yogurt sweets.
Can I explain how to order at the shop.
First, you can take a empty cup to put basement of yogurt or icecream.
Second, you can choose some toppings.
Finally, you have to pay depend on weigh.
The sweets was very nice.
I wanna recomend it for you.

先週はシドニーのダーリングハーバーという所にあるiMaxという映画館にも行ってきたのですが、その時の記事も書きたいと思います。

English Diary 1st August 2015

みなさんこんにちは。
英語日記を書きます。


Today, I went to Event Cinemas in Sydney and watched Mission Impossible Rogue Nation with my friend.

I had fun but I didn't understand some phrases because I watched the movie without subtitle.

My friend could understand almost so I had little sense of inferiority.

After watching the cinema, we met a few Australian at a British pub.

They speak English each other but I cannot speak english very well.

I'm little irritated because I couldn't tell what I want to say.

I thought my english is very terrible.

At the night, my friend and me went to Korean restraint.

I ordered bibinba and soju.

Soju is korean alcohol.

It was good.

Totally I had nice day, but some part made me nervous.




追記
リアルなネイティブ同士の会話を体験することができて、とても良い経験になったと同時に、ネイティブには程遠いことに少し落ち込んでしまいました。
僕はネイティブではないのですが、日本で人並みよりは英語を勉強してきた自覚があったので、つまらないプライドに苦しんでしまいました。
僕が受けてきた英語教育とは、やはりコミュニケーションに役立つものではなかったということなんだと思います。

もっと話せるようになりたいと、心から感じる一日でした。

みんさんこんにちは。
英語日記もあまり続いていませんね…。

今日は書いていこうとおもいます。

以下、英語日記です。


Today, new student came my class.

Her name is Yuna. She is Korean, very cute women.

Her skin is very clear, and she has sophisticated eyes.

We talked about to remember.

I learned way to use remember, remind, forget and recognize.

There are chance that I ask Yuna out but I missed the chance.

Next time, I'll ask her out dinner or lunch.



以下雑談。

みなさんは、韓国にはコリアンエイジというものがあるのをご存知でしょうか。
韓国では、うまれたとき既に１歳であるらしいのです。
なので韓国人はインターナショナルエイジという認識のもと、年齢を伝えます。
なのでコリアンエイジで２３歳だとすると、インターナショナルエイジで２１歳というようになります。
そして韓国人はやはり、上下関係がしっかりしており、自分よりも年齢の高い人にたいして礼儀をわきまえていると感じました。
海外に居ると色んな人に出会うことができて楽しいのですが、十分なお金がないと平日は時間がとれなくなってしまう気がします。
僕の場合は平日はほぼ、仕事と学校で埋まってしまうため、観光どころではありません。
なので、とても週末が楽しみです。

明日も一歩でも前に進むことができるように、頑張っていこうと思います。

英語日記です。

Today, I met my friend who stay in my second family's house where I have stayed 1 month ago.

His name is Koji.

Koji are from Japan Osaka.

He have just arrived in Sydney 2 weeks ago.

We went shopping and eating.

I had a fun.

English Diary 17th July 2015

みなさんこんにちは。
英語日記を毎日つけると目標を立てたのですが、一週間で途切れてしまいました。
ごめんなさい。

というのも、今週から本格的に仕事に就いたので、なかなか時間がなくて、というのは言い訳にしかなりませんね。

というわけで、英語日記をまたつけたいと思います。


Today, I went to school as usual.

Teacher's name is Brendon.

My school chenge a teacher every 4 weeks.

He looked non motivate.

This week, we have been studying Past Perfect grammar.

Teacher said past perfect is very not informal grammar.

Almost english speaker don't usually use past perfect.

So, we can use just simple past grammer when you speak english.

Sorry we have stupid grammar.



Look likeとseemの違いは、look likeが外見から判断するのにたいし、seemは話しての主観的観測が、ニュアンスに含まれるようです。
それから、過去完了形が日常会話で使用される頻度はそれほど多くなく、単純な過去形を用いても代弁することはできるので、もし難しいようであれあれば過去形を使用してくれ、ということを先生は行っていました。
ただ、過去完了形を使用することによって、時系列の情報がより明確になるということでした。

My job started from this week.

I have to remember a route of city because I have to carry a lot of lagage to Japanese restaurant and Korean restaurant and cafe.

And, I have to train my muscle. I'm very skinny boy. The job is difficult for skinny male.

English Diary 5th July 2015

みなさんこんにちは。
この度、タイトルを少し変更しました。
というのは、TOEICテストですが、海外に来てみて、大学の入学基準に用いられているのがIELTSやTOEFLである、ということです。
日本企業ではTOEICのスコアが重視されており、日本の大学ではTOEIC対策の授業が必須科目になっていますが、英語圏の大学に入学しようと思ったら、IELTS、TOEFLのスコアをどれくらい持っているかが大切になってくるようです。

なので、国際的に幅広く受け入れられているTOEFL、IELTSも視野に入れることにし、高得点を目指したいと考えた結果、タイトルを変更しました。
今後はTOEFLとTOEICのスコアアップを目指していきたいと思います。

ということで、TOEFLについてあまり詳しくしらなかったので、少し調べてみました。

Hide Parkにて

英語日記

Today, I went to state of library as usual.

Walking at the Hide Park, I recognized a group which played bagpipe.

I wondered if an event is held today.

There was traffic control on the road.

I was certain of what will be held.

It's a festival.

I was little interested in the festival, but I decided to ignore and to go library.

Additionally, I'm supposed to visit to my host family's house where I have already left.

What should I bring there, I am wondering...



僕の好きなハイドパークには、バグパイプの演奏者や戦闘車両などがスタンバイしていました。
今日は別の祭りも開かれているようで、見に行ってみたい気もします。
時間があったら行ってみようかな。

English Diary 4th July 2015

みなさんこんにちは。
今日のシドニーの天気は晴れ。
朝は１０度を下回る、寒い1日となっていますが、日中の日差しは日本の冬よりも強く、暖かな陽気に恵まれています。

今日は講義がないので、自習をしたことをまとめようと思います。
まず最初のフレーズは、

bondi beach

I wouldn't go that far.

です。
ある会話の中で現れた表現で、意味がわからなくて調べてみたところ、「そこまでしないよ」という意味でした。
夫婦の会話の中でハネムーンをどこに行くか決めているシュチュエーションのなかで、夫は為替の有利なところに行きたいというのを聞き、妻が「あなたはハネムーンを為替で決めるの？」と聞かれたことにたいして、夫が"I wouldn't go that far."と答えます。
こういう一言がとっさに出てくるといいのですが…。

次のフレーズは

Wouldn't you rather ~

です。

意味は「〜したほうがいいのでは？」という意味だそうです。

Wouldn't you rather be solvant than sentimental?

というふうに使われていました。

ハネムーンの計画を立てている夫が妻にたいして「情緒的になるよりも支払い能力があるほうがいいんじゃない？」と提案する場面で登場したフレーズです。

以下、英語日記です。

I woke up at 6AM, and ate cereal with milk poured on it.

Then, I dressed up and went to state of library in Sydney.

A few people have already sat down the table in the library.

I sat down a vacant seat too and started to study English, math, and economy.

I really like library.

I want gavernment of Okinawa to build such a library where is very big, useful and comfortable.

Let's take it easy today as usual;-)
